Industrial Turboexpanders

PTC supplies API and non-API turboexpanders for petrochemical plants, ASUs, NGL recovery and cryogenic processes in cooperation with established international licensors.

Industrial Turboexpanders
01

Turboexpanders are widely used in petrochemical industries, including propane, propylene and PTA production; in ASUs for cryogenic expansion; and in natural-gas processing, including NGL and gas-liquid recovery units.

Drawing on advanced turbomachinery expertise and cooperation with established international licensors, PTC designs and supplies advanced turboexpander solutions:

  • Expander–Generator, TEG Series, for simultaneous power generation and process cooling.
  • Expander–Booster Compressor, TEB Series, for higher efficiency and optimized compression processes.

PTC and its international technical partners design and manufacture equipment in full accordance with applicable API and non-API standards to ensure stable operation, long life and optimum efficiency under varied operating conditions.

Benefits of PTC turboexpanders

  • Lower energy consumption and improved process efficiency.
  • High efficiency and stable performance under severe conditions.
  • Custom design for project and process requirements.
  • Low maintenance through optimized design and quality components.
  • Complete engineering, installation, commissioning and training support.
